Miami Dade Tax Collector Base Rose 6.5%

Miami Dade Tax Collector County’s property base grew 6.5 percent from last year, the biggest gain since the real estate fall that affected the region’s numbers and caused local governments to have real problems.

The properties on the water line are the ones that have been leading the growth.

Miami Dade Tax Collector will have to decide how to allocate the additional income.  Where do you think it should go?
